Abhi Desai – CEO

Prior to joining Source Engineering, Abhi Desai gained over 20 years of broad experience in the Semiconductor Capital Equipment Industry. Most recently, serving as Executive Director of Engineering for 200mm Products at Applied Materials, he lead a group of Engineering and Technical professionals across the globe to manage the design and development of all new and existing products within Applied Global Services. Desai is extensively skilled across a variety of functional areas of Product Development at several divisions within Applied Materials. In addition, Desai worked at Asyst Technologies, during the phase of startup to public fruition. In the Medical Equipment industry, Desai worked at Abbott Labs as a Mechanical Engineer, designing minimally invasive surgical instruments. Desai has extensive experience in managing and developing a highly talented and diverse cross-functional team in US, Japan, Singapore, India, and Taiwan and holds several patents in the Semi Equipment Industry. Desai holds an MSME from Drexel University and a BSIE from India.

Eric Sudhoff – President

Eric Sudhoff is the founder of Source Engineering Services, incorporated in the U.S. in March, 2009, India in June of 2010, and then in The Netherlands in January of 2015. Prior to starting Source, Sudhoff spent 17 years of his career working for Applied Materials in various positions of increasing responsibility including an international assignment in Germany for 3.5 years working as a customer interface to all European customers such as Intel, STMicroelectronics, and Infineon to resolve engineering issues while managing the regional group’s operational performance. Sudhoff has also worked with almost every major Applied Materials’ customers throughout the globe on engineering and supplier issues. Prior to working at Applied Materials, Sudhoff worked at Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant as a Systems Analyst and at Del Ozone as a Design Engineer designing ozone generators. Sudhoff holds a BSME from California Polytechnic University at San Luis Obispo.

Srinivasa Nittuvalli – General Manager India Operations

Srinivasa brings in 17 years of experience working for various Semiconductor Capital Equipment and Services companies like ASML, ASM, Varian, Axcelis, HCL & Veeco on New Product Development, Value Engineering, Manufacturing and Field engineering support along with tool installation at customer sites. Srinivas also had experience working in countries like US, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea & Japan working closely with Senior Semiconductor Capital Equipment Engineers in providing conceptual and detailed mechanical designs. He has worked in TSMC & Samsung fabs during installation and tool startup.

Srinivasa has been a mentor to number of new engineers for their training and development along with managing their projects and activities. Srinivasa had managed 50+ member team and is experienced in people management, performance management, employee problem solving, training & recruitment. He has had major contribution towards strategic business processes like budgeting, forecasting, & planning.  Srinivasa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University.

Bert van Vlijmen – General Manager European Operation

Prior to Source Engineering Services Van Vlijmen worked for almost 20 years in the Applied Global Service organization and in Energy Product line management organization at Applied Materials. Van Vlijmen spent most of his time in the Spares organization involved in major Semiconductor and Energy customers across Europe, including Eastern Europe and Middle East. He has worked extensively on cross-functional initiatives such as complex spares processes, ISO certification and Lean Six Sigma projects. Van Vlijmen has more than 30 years of experience in operations and customer management in different industries and has a business economic background. Since October 2015 Bert has headed the European operation of Source Engineering Services B.V.
